Saturday-
Ta Daaaaah!
I’ve reached my second weight loss goal! I’ve lost 20 pounds. Actually, I’ve lost 21. I’ve cleansed my body of the bad stuff of last week and I’m back on track. After eating dairy, meat and some fats, I felt awful. My body had gone for almost eight weeks without it and it was like taking poison. It took several days to clear that stuff out of my system, but now I feel fine.
I’ve pulled out my dehydrators and am drying all kinds of things. Fuji apples make the most wonderful apple chips. They’re like potato chips, but they’re sweet, crunchy and completely good for you because there’s no oils. It’s all completely natural. I gave some to my neighbor and they went nuts for them. The only problem is that they’re so wonderfully addicting. I’m eating them up almost as fast as I can make them. They’re way better than the store-bought apple chips. At least though, eating several apples (even in the form of chips) each day is good for you. Even though the apples are dry, they retain their fiber content. One thing you must remember…. drink lots of water when you eat dehydrated foods. If you don’t, you will become horribly constipated.
I’ve dried zucchini, bananas (didn’t like them), apples, and peaches. I bought a box of peaches and they ripened to fast. I prepped them and slapped them onto the dehydrators. Tonight, they were ready. Yum! I’m thinking about drying chunks for putting on cereals too.
Sunday-
Although there hasn’t been any change in my weight today, I realize that I’ve been a little obsessed with getting on the scale. For the past eight weeks, it had become a morning ritual. I realize it can be encouraging and empowering, but at the same time, it can be discouraging for those reading this blog who are waiting for the numbers to drop and they aren’t dropping as fast as they would like.
Something important to note though, even though I ate some things that were not particularly good for me, my weight didn’t balloon, and after returning to my eating regime, my weight dropped right back down. I had eaten dessert – something I hadn’t done for eight weeks. That could have been dangerous. I found myself craving sweets.
Thursday-
I have now lost a grand total of 25 pounds in less than ten weeks. I haven’t weighed this little for many years. Today, my daughter registers for school. I’m in a terrifically good mood and well, frankly, I’m feeling a little sassy (in a still overweight kind of way). I dressed nicely today. My husband asked me why I was all dressed up and I told him, “because I can. I’ve lost a lot of weight, I feel good, I look good, so I’m going to dress the part.”
“Well good for you!” was his reply with a smile.
What can I say? I got on the scale this morning and got an attitude. It’s not that I’m so thin, but I’m thinner than I was. Next week, I’ll be thinner than this. It’s all little stepping stones to the ultimate goal. Each step is a small victory and I’m going to savor each one.
Well, the end of last week was iffy at best. Our schedules were knocked off with an unexpected death and a Memorial Service. It got out late, and we all went out to eat. The Hamburger, onion rings and fries are not on my food list. Two days later, we were invited to a birthday party which we couldn’t decline. There wasn’t anything which I could eat that was on my food list either. I PAID DEARLY!
Like I said, I paid dearly for the poor eating of last week and Saturday. As we left the party, I felt sick. I had a stomach ache and a headache. It felt like I had been poisoned or something. It was a dairy fest and my body didn’t like it. Sunday, I felt awful. I felt bloated, gummed up and I had a whopper of a headache. My body got bombarded with stuff it was used to not having. While these items tasted good at the time, and I was mindful of the poor food choices (there were no good ones, by the way) I knew I would gain weight.
It is Monday morning, and my weight is up two pounds. This is not a surprise. I feel better today, but not 100 percent. I’m back into my healthy eating groove and I expect to feel much better tomorrow with perhaps a drop in my weight. It’s easy to put it on and difficult to take it off.
I have decided not to continue to list my food intake anymore. I pretty much know what I can and can’t eat or rather, what I should and shouldn’t eat and I know how many calories there are in the things I have been eating. What I’ll do is continue to report my weight and significant noteworthy items.
I feel very strongly about food diaries. When you have a lot of weight to lose, the diary is a useful tool. Once you get used to a dietary change, I don’t feel you need it anymore as long as you can keep up the pattern. Some people may have a problem with this, and need to keep the diary. Personally, I don’t feel the need to keep it anymore. HOWEVER, If I find that I am slipping in my dietary change, I may go back to keeping it.
I’ve been keeping very busy so there is no time to snack, and while sewing, I don’t keep food around for obvious reasons.
My daughter has become rather “continental” in her clothing tastes. I think it’s a good thing because I think it’s a waste of money to pay a bundle for a shirt with someone else’s name on it. They should be paying us for the advertising. Unfortunately, most people follow fashion trends like sheep. I’m thrilled that my daughter has decided to become a fashion trendsetter with more classic clothing rather than just another fashion follower. The neat thing about that is her clothes won’t go out of style so quickly.

Okay, the diary has been neglected. What can I say?
Part of living “Green” is healthy living. We haven’t been doing that. We have changed our eating habits and are healthier. We heard about CELLFOOD and decided to try it. These two days were a lost cause. Although I didn’t eat too poorly, I did have a pastrami and swiss sandwich for lunch on Tuesday and I munched out on a few things I shouldn’t have. I will pay tomorrow with some noticeable water weight gain. I was so busy, I didn’t have the time to enter in this diary. I was finishing up the gown for my daughter for her Senior pictures. I have been running on almost no sleep but I got it done enough to make some real nice pictures.

Fifteen pounds! What’s even cooler is, I have dropped a full pant size!
My daughter returns from Australia this evening and I have all sorts of things to do; one of them being buying a smaller pair of pants. The larger size was almost big enough on me to pull them off while buttoned. That was cool.
Today, I had the worst craving or a snickers bar in the middle of the day. Yeah, I over ate a little, but at least they weren’t the empty calories a candy bar would have given me.

I’m astounded by the numbers of people that think there’s a magical elixir out there that will strip their weight off. Nobody but you can do it. Go to Blog Because we had chicken, I don’t expect a weight loss for two days. Animal protein takes longer to digest ergo sits in your digestive tract longer. No worries. I’m not in a race. Doing this slow, steady and properly is going to shave the weight off.

Day 31: Monday, July 27
Weight: no change- total weight loss, 16 pounds in 30 days
No weight change up or down. I was right. Interestingly enough, I feel just a little sluggish this morning. Could it be the chicken that’s sitting in my body? My husband has been bugging me for steak so tonight’s the night. I don’t expect any weight loss tomorrow either. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised at a small gain. I’m debating on whether I will eat the steak or not. I’m kind of hooked on the weight loss. After all, it’s not the last steak on the planet. I’ll think about it.
I’ve been hungry all day. This is the first time it has really had a grip on me. I didn’t really eat badly during the day, just too much. The Luna bars were too sweet and good. They made me want more and the Peanut butter Clif bar only made me want to drink water. Too much salt?

Day 32: Tuesday, July 28

No weight change up or down. It’s a good thing.
After two days of eating animal protein for dinner, my digestive tract isn’t being efficient. In other words, I’m a little backed up. At least I had the presence of mind to only eat half of my steak last night. I’ll let my husband have the other half to make a sandwich today. I’d eat it, but I don’t crave it, and I don’t want to eat meat three days in a row.
Last night after dinner I went out and mowed the front lawn. It started getting so dark that I couldn’t see very well so I quickly finished up and went inside. It was psychologically good for me to feel like I was burning off that steak instead o sitting around watching TV. This morning I looked at it and I’m going to have to go over it again to make it neater. It’s so humid though, I really don’t want to. Humidity and I just don’t get along. I hate sweating for no good reason. I hate not being able to sleep…. I’m ready for winter.
I just got a call from a friend of mine who I got started on CELLFOOD yesterday. Yaaaaa! I’ve made it to my first weight loss goal! V-E-R-Y E-N-C-O-U-R-A-G-I-N-G!
18 pounds in five weeks or almost 4 pounds a week! …. the right way and I’m rarely hungry.
I’m astounded by my behavior as I lose weight. Personally, I think a lot of his is the momentum of losing weight. To get up in the morning knowing there is most likely a drop in my weight keeps me from snacking on stuff. I have a pantry full of things I shouldn’t eat and I’m not tempted at all. The vision of a gorgeous pair of 30-some-odd year old, brand new, never been worn Jordache Jeans dances in my head. Of course, time and a sagging bod may prevent actually wearing them, but I’m gonna get close.
I’ve never been so focused and determined to get myself thin and healthy in my life. A few days ago, a woman who had only seen me once, noticed the weight loss and wanted to know what I had done. Of course I told her.
Listen up everybody! If I can do this, you can too! Can’t never accomplished anything! In the middle of the day, I was hit with actual hunger. That’s when I ate the carrot and Clif Bar with a glass of water. Later, I was so busy working on a gown for my daughter, I didn’t give eating much thought. It was so humid, by dinner I wasn’t really very hungry. I actually thought about not eating dinner. Depriving my body of food was not in my best interests, so I ate. I don’t want to even entertain the notion of minimum calories or no calories in order to lose weight. That kind of mindset not only messes up your metabolism, it messes up your head.

I began sanding and staining a 7-foot bookcase for my daughter’s room today. I wasn’t hungry in the morning, so I didn’t eat. Not smart. It’s been very warm, and I got dehydrated. I had to stop, drink a lot of water and eat. After about a half hour, I felt better and went back out.

I’m having ice cream withdrawals. I would kill for a bowl… But… I’m going to be good. I’ll have a piece of fruit.

Day 24: Monday, July 20
Weight: 0 change- total weight loss, 12 pounds in 23 days
Well, it took all day to finish the bookcase, but we assembled it and put it in my daughter’s room. It’s a little imposing. I think I’m going to put in a 6-footer and move the 7-footer to another room.
It’s been so hot, I don’t have much of an appetite. I guess that’s good. “If it don’t go into the mouth, it don’t go on the hips”. Even in the evening, I’m not really starving in that three hours before bed.
I’ve been chowing down on wonderful summer fruits and a few wheat thins when I’m hungry.
NO MEAT We had brown rice and veggies for dinner.
We’ve been reading up on eating and health. Obviously, our eating habits have changed somewhat. When I have the time, I will give you the low-down on what we’ve learned. In the meantime, I feel pretty good. My body is stronger after healing from pushing that bed around. All that standing on hot cement for two days has been hard on my feet. Remember, I’m overweight and my feet are stuck holding me up.

Day 25: Tuesday, July 21
Weight: 1/2 pound- total weight loss, 12.5 pounds in 24 days
f13 pounds! Not too shabby! I’m pleased. I’m still grossly overweight for my height, but I’m feeling a lot thinner than I actually am. Perhaps it’s my energy level. I’m not cocky, just encouraged. Since it’s been many days since we’ve eaten any meat, my system is working more efficiently. Back to bookcase building.
During the course of my reading, I also learned that women should only take in about 1200 calories per day and at least half of those calories should be vegetables. The food pyramid we all had shoved at us was a bunch of bunk.
I think I’m going to start listing all that I eat for comparison day to day.

Over 555 calories! Good Grief! No wonder I’m fat!
I could have skipped the sun chips, eaten a third less the amount of grapes and half the pintos.
Sugar is the big culprit. 400 calories for a bunch of grapes. It satisfied the sugar cravings but I paid calorically.
The important thing to note is that in spite of what I eat, I’m still losing weight. Once my metabolism kicks in, I probably won’t need the CELLFOOD Weight Loss Formula.
There are no magic formulas. They recalled Hydroxycut because it was causing liver injuries. The best way to lose weight is by exercise and the foods you take in. I think a little help is good, but ultimately, it’s up to you. I’m no doctor. This is just common sense.

Weight: 0 change- total weight loss, 12.5 pounds in 25 days
My back hurts from all the bending and carrying over the last several days. Yes, sit-ups would fix that. I ate bulky things yesterday and we ate a rather heavy dinner last night, so although I may have burned some calories, there’s a lot of bulk in my system. By the way, there is no study that says you need to drink 8 glasses of water a day. It has become a “standard” and it has merit, but you won’t die if you don’t drink 8. Not enough is not good, and too much is harmful as well. Hydrating your system is a good thing. When you’re outside being active and sweating, yes you need to replenish fluids and in that case, much more than 8 glasses or you’ll dehydrate. If you’re going a whole day, drinking water and you’re not peeing, you need to drink more water. You’re sweating it out, but your kidneys are not being used to cleanse your body. Peeing eliminates body waste… hint hint… nudge nudge.
Sitting around on your butt doesn’t help either. Typing on this post keeps my fingers nimble, but it doesn’t burn calories…. Time to do some physical work.

While working on my blogs I discovered that two supplement sites cut and pasted my CELLFOOD title and intro. You’ll find them if you type in ” My CELLFOOD Diary” Beware, beware, beware! One of them will launch you into some edgy “adult” stuff! Poor stupid people… Don’t they know it won’t work? They must be real imbecils if they can’t come up with their own content…. We must pity them…. They know not what they do…. In fact, they’re too stupid to know what they’re doing. I would hate to be their Webmaster when they find out he’s been putting stuff from other people’s sites on their site. BONEHEAD! Okay… I feel better now. The good thing was, I discovered a linking problem with all of those Google posts. They led nowhere. They’re fixed now. I also did something to mess those Goobers up a little.
We assembled the second bookcase. I took the taller one and put it into my guest bedroom. The room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned since the pine trees dumped their pollen, so kicking it up again blew out my sinuses. I now have a whopping headache… But the room looks really cool! I’m thrilled.
Attitude is everything. Earlier, I let this plagiarism issue get to me and I ate the bagel. That’s stress eating. Bad, bad, bad. At least I checked the calories before I ate it. I was going to eat cream cheese on it, but the calories would have been too much. At least I made an informed decision.
Because the temperature was around 100, my hands swelled. My body doesn’t handle heat very well. I have been drinking lots and lots of water to offset the bloating.

Wow! My water drinking paid off (even though I was up peeing several times during the night). Like I said, heat and I don’t get along. My hands are still retaining a little water, but not like yesterday. Depriving my body of the gazillions of calories it’s used to didn’t hurt either. I’m glad I love raw carrots. They’re the best. If you want to scour out your intestines, eat a couple of raw carrots each day. They’re full of Beta Carotene, 30 calories apiece and versatile (you can eat them raw, cooked and shredded or chopped into a salad.
Dinner last night was too filling. Have you ever eaten a full cup of green beans? It’s a mountain! Even though it was almost four hours before I went to bed, I still felt heavy and full. NOT TODAY! I have lots to do today and I’m ready to rock and roll!

Today I feel great! I’m full of energy and ready to get things done. This morning I realized that I’ve been miscalculating my weight loss. Today, it’s correct. That’s why the weight change says 0. I’m not going to go back and correct the last three weeks… there’s no point.
The CELLFOOD literature says that much of the changes are internal and you may not see weight as the major change. That’s okay with me. Yes, I’ve lost weight, but it’s not entirely due to the CELLFOOD WEIGHT LOSS FORMULA. I’ve been very busy and we are eating less (recommended by Lumina). I feel better, I’m thinner and my skin looks better. I certainly can’t complain.
I’ve been so busy today, I haven’t really taken time out to eat anything. I wasn’t hungry though either. That makes it easy to lose weight.

Day 9: Sunday, July 5
Weight: 1/2 pound - total weight loss 10 pounds in 8 days.
I AM SURPRISED. After the eating I did yesterday, I expected my weight to go up. I think my body is being more efficient. I don’t look like I’ve lost ten pounds, because I gain equally all over my body, not just in particular places. When I’ve lost twenty pounds, it’ll be obvious. What is obvious to me is the tightening up of my face. My daughter noticed too. It’s all good.
One thing I haven’t explained is when I get on the scale: When I get up, I take my CELLFOOD DIETARY SUPPLEMENT and CELLFOOD ESSENTIAL SILICA FORMULA (and my Prilosec for my ulcer) with a glass of water. I fix a cup of tea and hang out for about a half hour. Notice that I don’t eat anything yet. I wait until I have the morning “poop” (sorry, I don’t have a more dignified way of saying it). I take a shower, then I get on the scale, fully clothed without shoes. I think weighing yourself with just your jammies or underwear on is almost like cheating. Nobody sees you like that, they see you with clothes on. Your clothes may weigh a pound or two, but it’s a bit of a mental lift knowing that if you stood on the scale in just your underwear, you would actually weigh less. The key here, is to keep a routine. Always weigh yourself at the same time each day if you’re going to weigh yourself at all. Weigh yourself before you eat. If you can “eliminate” early in the morning, weigh yourself afterward. KEEP YOUR ROUTINE. This way, your results are accurate.
I’ve been reading the “scam” articles about CELLFOOD. I especially liked the one written by the chemist. For being such a self-proclaimed authority on the subject on chemistry, he is sadly and grossly misinformed about many things. It has already been proven, (not supposed or theorized) that the earth had at least 30% more oxygen several thousand years ago (If you understand what I just said, good for you. If you didn’t, your problems are bigger than you know). This number came from tested underwater caves and the air bubbles which were trapped in amber (petrified tree sap… Thank you” Jurassic Park”). They have also proven that plants which are grown in pressurized, oxygen-rich greenhouses grew to gigantic proportions (Stick that in your elemental chart Einstein).
Yes, pure oxygen can be dangerous… It explodes when you put a match to it. Duh!
If pure oxygen is so bad, why are emphysema and lung cancer patients put on it?
The little girl (baby Jessica) who had fallen in the well and was stuck for hours was placed in a Hyperbaric chamber and the limbs she would have otherwise lost were saved (Obviously such a chamber did nothing for a certain person who was addicted to drugs and shall remain nameless). Hyperbaric chambers are used to dissolve nitrogen in the blood when divers get the bends. It is this very technology CELLFOOD is tapping into. Weight loss doesn’t happen overnight. I’m giving CELLFOOD a chance. Oxygenation makes sense. Your lungs oxygenate your blood. If that blood is kept, let’s say, from a finger, you will lose that finger because the oxygen-carrying blood couldn’t get to it. Poor circulation is a problem with diabetics. I’ve had friends who have lost toes due to diabetes-induced circulation problems. Our tissues need oxygen. If CELLFOOD increases the oxygen to our bodies, then it’s a good thing.
My semi-steady weight loss is encouraging. If it were any faster, I think I would be concerned. After years of food-abuse, nothing short of lipo-suction can make weight just drop off. It’s unrealistic. It takes time. Even the largest weight-loss programs will tell you that. They give you pre-proportioned food, or special shakes and tell you to eat more salad and veggies. Duh. Really? Without changing your eating habits, nothing will work. You’ll take the weight off, yes. When your weight is off and you don’t have someone preparing your pre-packaged meals for you, you’re going to gain the weight back. Period. This is what the diet industry is all about… addicting you to their program. They hook you into the weight loss program but when you’re done and you haven’t changed your eating habits you’ll gain it back (that’s good for the old self esteem). What do you do? Go back on the diet. They have you hooked. It’s a vicious circle which can only be broken by changing your diet.
We, in my household have been changing our eating habits over the last several months and we feel better for it. I’ve lost some significant weight, but wanted to lose more. This is why I’m trying the CELLFOOD supplements. If it does what the manufacturer claims, my weight loss will be steady and more significant. After I have lost about twenty more pounds, I’ll be able to do activities I haven’s done in years.
Weight gain is limiting and sometimes debilitating. If you’re hungry, eat something healthy like a piece of fruit or celery or a carrot. The fiber you ingest also helps.
Yes, the weight loss possibilities are what drew me to CELLFOOD in the first place. The immediate energizing effects (at least for me) are promising. The weight loss, even when I eat poorly, is promising. I still would like to get the CELLFOOD vitamins and the dna formula. I think the results, considering my joint issues, will be staggering if it does what the manufacturer claims it does.
Time is the factor. Yes, I’m impatient but it won’t do me any good. I want to be sixty pounds thinner by next week but it’s not going to happen. Losing several pounds a week? I can wrap my brain around that, can you? In just a little more than a week, I’m down ten pounds. Never mind that I’m more energized, my weight-loss is encouraging. It’s exciting, and it puts me in a fantastic mood. By the way, happy people are healthier people. Don’t worry……… be happy.
Exercise is also a key. You don’t lose weight by sitting around the house watching TV…. Sorry.

Well, I don’t have much to say for myself. The weight went up two pounds, then back down. I’ve lost momentum, but I’m glad I don’t have to start over. Our house has been a whirlwind of people, activity and food. Interestingly enough, I haven’t gained any overall weight from this culinary abuse. Where do I start….
* I’m not a young person and I’m significantly overweight

Day 2: Sunday, June 28
I woke up early this morning. Hmmm. I have a noticeable increased flexibility in my feet and my back doesn’t hurt like it usually does. My hands don’t hurt and are rather flexible. I don’t have the same pronounced pain in my lower back and legs as I did yesterday. It’s not gone, just better. I feel energetic too. Coincidence? Perhaps. Do these products work as quickly as they seem to or is it just wishful thinking on my part? I don’t know, but I just can’t dismiss the marked flexibility in my feet this morning. This is something that has been plaguing me for some time, especially in the morning. Day 3: Monday, June 29
Weight: no change- total weight loss, 0 pounds in 2 days
Well, I slept really well. I thought I would be stiff but I wasn’t. My feet are flexible and my hands only hurt a little bit. Pulling weeds was hard on my hands. My back is a little sore, but nothing to really complain about. The first side effects of using CELLFOOD is detox. I have some allergies, and I was working around dirt and residual pollen from the pine trees, so my runny nose is either detox, or allergy related. What’s noteworthy is I don’t have a sinus headache even though I’ve been sneezing and blowing by nose like crazy. They’re mowing hay everywhere, so that could also be the reason. The yard awaits. My left knee is really bothering me today, but that’s life.
Another seven hours of yard work. I’m sore and stiff, but not incapacitated. The fingers are definitely sore, as is my back from stooping all day.

I don’t think the weight loss is significant. Nothing can kick-start this kind of weight loss overnight. I think it’s the water weight. If I don’t eat too many salty things, I think the weight loss from now on will be noteworthy.
